With a background in Biochemistry and Molecular Biomedicine, I hold a PhD from the Institute of Molecular Biosciences at the University of Graz in Austria. My research journey has led me to explore the intricate world of cellular proteostasis, particularly during ageing, as well as the significance of membrane contact sites. As a tenure-track assistant professor at Umeå University, I am committed to advancing our understanding of cellular health and disease. I'm driven by a passion for uncovering the mysteries of life at the molecular level.
